On November 14,Instagram declared that they starting testing of private like counts globally.

If any users of  account in the test then he no longer see the total number of likes and views expect from their own feed.

As per Instagram feedback, from early launching like free feature they receive positive response from countries like Australia,Brazil,Canada,Italy and due to this decision  many Influncers,Creators were gloomy. 

That's why in addition Instagram says, we understand the how like counts are important for creators and we also working fo r creators to communicate the values of there partners.

Instargram was officially announced on thursday that, they were testing a unique feature in some countries to Hiding the total numbers of likes and video views on instagram.

Instagram says the reason behind this  gigantic decision,

“We want  your friends to focus on the photos that you share,not how many  likes they get. 
You can still see your likes in list but your friends will not able to see how many likes your post has received."
